The Share icon generates links and embedding codes so the map can be saved, ed, or embedded on a webpage. A specific map position and scale can be saved using the Bookmark icon. Comparative viewing of layers can be done with the Swipe tool that splits the map vertically to analyze the differences between the layers. Information about the layers is provided when features or layers are clicked on. Default extent sets the map back to its original positioning and previous/next extent take the map to the previous or next extent viewed.
Tools can be used to find an area of interest in the Map View by zooming in or out to different scales, and by panning around the map by clicking and dragging. Many tools produce a window that can be moved by clicking and dragging. White icons represent Viewing Tools and Black icons represent Map Tools. Many of the tools launch windows that can be moved and placed anywhere on the application window. By default, all tools are closed upon application launch. The interface presented to the user consists of a Map View Frame, a Map Tools toolbar, the Attributes Table, the Zoom icons, and Share and App Information icons.
